In 'City of Lost Memories', memory is many things. It is a burden and a treasure; it haunts and it brings excitement. Talking about how important it is, the first poem begins with an appeal:
'Don’t wash me away from your memory.'
Memory is what keeps people and events alive in our minds. And this is why it can be both a blessing and a curse. And it's this multiplicity of what memory can be that 'City of Lost Memories’ explores.
